Privacy

What the Store Guardian plugin sends us, what it never sends, and what we do with it. Plain version, because that's the whole point.

What the plugin sends us

• Your site URL.
• The email address you want alerts sent to.
• Aggregate order counts (how many orders, not what was in them).
• Health signals: whether checkout renders, whether outgoing email is working, whether the site is reachable.
• For a failed-payment alert only: the order number, the amount, the currency, and the name of the payment method (for example "Stripe"). That's what you need to chase the sale.

What it never sends

• Customer names, emails, addresses, or phone numbers.
• The contents of any order.
• Passwords, API keys, or secrets of any kind.

What we do with it

We use it to alert you, and nothing else. We don't sell it, share it, or use it to build a profile of your store. Monitoring data is kept for 30 days and then aged out.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the plugin removes everything it added to your site. To have us delete the monitoring records on our servers as well, email hello@deskbydawn.com and we'll take care of it.

This website

This site sets no cookies. We count page visits ourselves on our own server: the page path, the referring site, and a scrambled visitor code that changes every day and can't be traced back to you. No names, no IP addresses stored, nothing shared with anyone, no third-party analytics scripts.
